SKGABC Level 1 Guides are trained to lead day trips in sheltered waters. Participants will review a wide range of basic boat handling and rescue skills, record and interpret the weather, navigate by piloting, and refine group leadership, communication, and safety management skills. Our course is accredited by the SKGABC, and includes the Level 1 Guide Exam. Successful Candidates can upgrade to Assistant Overnight Guide with our AOG Upgrade course.

A deposit of $300 is required at the time of registration in order to secure your spot. The balance of your payment is due at least 30 days before the start of the program. Payment can be made by Interac E-Transfer, cheque, money order, or cash. You can also pay the full amount with a credit card using the online registration system on our website.
