This kayak fishing expedition takes place in Clayoquot Sound, a sea kayaker’s paradise, famous for its secluded long and spectacular sandy beaches and old growth forests. This temperate coastal rainforest provides an important refuge and habitat for a significant number of animals including Bald Eagles, Wolves, Ospreys, Humpback Whales and Gray Whales. On this expedition we will be mostly focusing on Coho Salmon, as well as Chinook Salmon, Lingcod and Rockfish.
The trip begins with a water taxi from Tofino to our remote campsite on a beautiful sandy beach located near fantastic fishing spots. After four days of fishing from our kayaks and being fed wonderful meals adapted to your diet, the water taxi will bring us back to Tofino.
